- Thank you for visiting Metro’s Blog site. In the very near future, the Metro website as you see it today will be completely different. It will be much more user friendly, more vivid and, well, much more improved to serve our transit community. Metro staff encourages you to visit the website often and we hope you participate in our Facebook and Twitter. After all, what is going to make Metro and public transportation in Green Bay and all of our metropolitan area “fun” is YOUR participation. Also within the next few months, Metro will be implementing route changes within the system to make your transit experience much more efficient. You want an example? Ok, here is one. The west side transfer point will be implemented with zero additional cost to our operations and zero cost to implement. You will be able to use Metro with much more efficiency. We will be having many public forums in the following days for your input. Stay tuned to our website for locations and dates. Metro also has planned many transit initiatives that are a sure bet to be very well received in the community. As well, look for our new fleet of ten buses on routes very soon.
