The Transit Commission voted today to implement service changes effective 5 January 2009.
Beginning 5 January 2009, Routes 6 & 7 will move to hourly service beginning at 6:15 PM during the weeknights. Currently, each of these routes have half hour service during the night. This change will eliminate the bus leaving the transit center at :45 after each hour.
Updated schedules will be available soon.

When will you post other service cuts that we've heard about?
How interesting that there was no 9:15 PM # 6 bus tonight; I know because I waited at Jefferson and Cherry from 9:13 until 9:27, when I called and was told there was no 9:15 bus. The published schedules and those on the website still show service until 9:45. There was nothing on the # 6 buses themselves to show any change of schedule either to hourly service on the quarter hour or to advicse of the apparent elimination of the whole last hour of service. Oh yes, when I asked the personnel at the Metro Center Saturday about schedule changes, specifically asking if hours of service or times for #6 and 9 were changing this week, I was told no. Let's see, you raise monthly adult passes 40%, change routes and schedules without notice, and apparently cut service. Smooth move!
Stop the cuts and spend some of your profits on the routes. UWGB cuts out a 6PM to 1 hour trips? You are foolish. I will contesting your whole company and the system.

this is stupid i have to walk all the way home at 9:30pm because theres no more buses and at 6:20 is my class and it sucks because they changed it to houlry so now im always late
